Cross jurisdiction data sharing

When an internet connection, e.g. via satellite, is established for the site, then all data collected may be uploaded and transferred to a location that is outside the disaster zone.
This allows external authorities to review the situation in the disaster zone and coordinate further assistance.
It is also helpful for agencies to share information with each other to collaborate effectively, and this can be achieved via the internet.
However, there are very real sensitivities about sharing information if it contains personal data.
L2S2 has filed patent application for an innovative method for sharing information across jurisdictions in a way that preserves data confidentiality and yet enables full collaboration between agencies and governments.
